A Fresh Dial Design Straight from the ’60s

This fresh update to our Marlin Automatic features the iconic dial and hand design from one of our best-selling Marlin watches from the '60s, complemented by a sturdy 40mm stainless-steel case and a blue sunray dial. Ticking inside is a tried-and-true 21-jewel Japanese automatic movement that’s powered by your motion as you wear the watch and can store a maximum 40 hours of energy. If motionless for longer than 40 hours, wind the watch using the crown until you feel resistance, set the time, and place it back on your wrist where every motion will supply the energy. Crowning the case is a vintage-style domed acrylic crystal and complementing its smooth profile is an eco-friendly black natural leather strap sourced from the Leather Working Group (LWG).

Mechanical Handwound Movement

Simply wind the watch until you feel resistance on the crown—a motion best done at the same time each day—and enjoy a vintage-inspired appeal that has stood the test of time.

Mechanical Hand-wind

Wind it Daily

A hand-wound mechanical movement is powered by you turning the crown to tighten a spring inside. That stored energy drives the gears and hands in a smooth sweep — all precision, no battery. A full wind keeps your watch ticking confidently through the day.

Acrylic Crystal

A lightweight plastic polymer with excellent impact resistance and a warm vintage appearance that can be easily polished to remove scuffs.

Acrylic Crystal

Highly impact-resistant

Acrylic lens are a specialised form of plastic akin to Plexiglass and were commonly used in early to mid-20th century watches. It is a softer material that can be more prone to scratches but conversely is very shatter-resistant. Given its softness any scratches though can be buffed out. Acrylic lens are synonymous with vintage-inspired timepieces and thus can be found on our Marlin and Q Timex collections.
