Common Repair Questions
Q: How long does it normally take to get my watch back?
A: 2-4 weeks.
Q: My watch failed within the first year after I bought it, will I have to pay for repairs?
A: In most cases, problems with your watch in the first year will be covered by the terms of Timex's limited warranty. You will not have to pay for repairs to your watch that are covered by the warranty. There is, however, a £2.50 charge to cover postage and handling as specified in the warranty.
Q: Can you tell me what it will cost to repair my watch that is no longer under warranty?
A: Repair charges vary depending upon the style, age, and condition of the watch.
Q: Can you explain your repair or replace policy for warranty service?
A: As stated in the limited warranty, Timex may repair your watch by installing new or reconditioned and inspected components or replace your watch with an identical or similar model.
Q: My watch needs repair. Should I remove the strap before sending?
A: Your watch may be replaced with a similar model. If you have customized the strap or affixed a different type of strap, you may want to remove it before sending.
Q: My watch is sentimental, should I send it for repair?
A: Never send sentimental or engraved items for repair as your watch could be replaced and the original may not be returned to you.
