Timex uses online credit card authorization from VeriSign, which means that your purchase is submitted for verification before the sale is confirmed.

Timex may need to take the following steps for your safety.

If there is a problem with your card that will prevent order processing, you will be notified online immediately and will not be able to complete the order with the given card.

If there is a problem with your address or if authorization is flagged for other errors, your confirmation and receipt will reflect that your order is pending approval.

Your credit card may not be approved for the following reasons:

The name on the credit card does not match the billing name given
The billing address given does not match the bank records

If approval cannot be obtained instantly online, you will be contacted either by phone, postcard, or email, and the problem will be indicated.

You will then be given an opportunity to provide corrected name or address information. So, please take care when entering your credit card numbers, as erroneous information will delay your order.
